update

Eva's arm is better. She was in the 4th of July parade

but I'm still waiting on the pictures from that to post them.

Eva had band camp but missed the last day and the concert

We had a van fire. Our van went up in flames but thankfully

Eva wasn't with us at the time. We moved in a new place Eva

got a bigger room. Well more next month. here are some new pictures

well it has been a few days

Eva's arm is healing up fine. She is cleaning it 2x a day and in 12 more days she can have the stitches taken out.

what Eva has been up to.

Well she has been busy but that is normal for around here. On Mother's day she made me breakfast, she had just finished when the power went out. The weather started to get bad and there was a tornado seen about 20 miles from your place. So we grabed the diaper bag and went to kathy's house since we don't have a basement. Everything worked out ok that day. The night before we had dinner with her grandparents, aunt jami and her kids.

The following weekend we went looking at a new place. I think we found the perfect place. Eva will get a bigger bedroom and the yard is big and we can have a pool. She might just live in the pool if you let her. On that saturday, my work had a hog roast. Everyone had fun. Can you see the storm coming in the background.

Then on Thurday she had her last band concert at the middle school. She still has less then 2 weeks of school. 4 days this week and 4 next week. The next two weeks a busy also. She still has a award night,8th grade dance, a cookout for the 8th grand band members, and tryouts for marching and concert band. Here is a picture of her at the concert.
Eva is a brave girl. Last night she was playing at her step brothers and sister's house and got cut on some metal. The EMT said that she was fine but needed to get a tetanus shot. So I took her to the ER. The doctor looked at her cut and said it needed to have a stitch or two. Well a shot and 11 stitches later, I guess they were all wrong. She watched the tech sew her up and never let out a peep. She thought it was cool. She impressed the tech. He said he never has had anyone that has watched. She only asked when she could go back to the house that night. So I took her there. She can't wait to show everyone. Here is a before pic, it doesn't look so bad,but it was deeper then thought. she wants me to take a pic of the stitches but we need to wait 24 hrs before the bandage can come off.

school and dentist

Well Eva got into the school she wanted. It has a marching band. In febuary we put her in the school lottery. We picked school A and B. Well early March school B made a offer but they have no marching band, so we waited. thankfully because school A made a offer on tuesday. She was on the waiting list but only 22 and she moved up really quick. She is happy because now she can go to the same school as some of her friends. Her home school by address was a rough one and I'm thankful she doesn't have to go there. Now I can't wait to see her in her band uniform and on the football field. She is growing up so fast. Last year of middle school and then we only have her for a few years before she is off to collage. Time flys.

yesterday she had a dentist visit and all is well. they say she has great teeth. Her little sister had her very first visit. So Eva walked her back to the chair. She is so good to her sister.

so it has been a few months since i have written. December and January where crazy for us but that is on my other page. Eva turned 14 in February. we had dinner with her grandparents. the cake was made by our favorite bakery.

my family

my family is whatkeeps me sane but on the other hand they drive me crazy also. My oldest is turning 14 in a week and a half. they grow up so fast. my youngest is 14 months old, she keeps me busy.

our life

this is our first blog so here is a little info on us. I'm the mom of two girls and the step-mom of three. Things can get crazy around here at times. Last year I married a great guy on st.paddy's day. one of my favorite holidays.
